The Escalon Cougars football team (Escalon, CA), was tipped 21-20 in Friday's league challenge with the host Hilmar Yellowjackets (Hilmar, CA)

The Yellowjackets (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Hughson (Hughson, CA). The Huskies come into the Trans Valley League challenge with a 6-1 record.

The Cougars now sport a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they host Modesto Christian for a Trans Valley League challenge on Thursday, October 6. Escalon will meet a Crusaders team coming off a 48-12 league loss to Hughson (Hughson, CA). The Crusaders record now stands at 5-2.
