Pennsylvania High School Football - Hickory can't get by Slippery Rock

The Slippery Rock Rockets held off the host Hickory Hornets football team by a final score of 23-20 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, Slippery Rock improves its record to 4-2 on the season. The Rockets host Sharon (Sharon, PA) to confront the Tigers in a District 10 Region 3 outing on Friday, October 7. The Tigers go into the outing with a record of 3-3. Sharon lost 49-27 in their recent non-league outing against Sharpsville (Sharpsville, PA)

With the loss, Hickory moves to 2-4 on the season. The Hornets travel to Grove City (Grove City, PA) to confront the Eagles in a District 10 Region 3 outing on Friday, October 7. The Eagles go into the outing with a record of 4-2. Grove City won 33-27 in their recent league outing against Greenville (Greenville, PA)
