The Konawaena Wildcats (Kealakekua, HI) football routed the visiting Waiakea Warriors (Hilo, HI), 61-0 in Friday's league bout.
In their next game, the Wildcats face the Hilo Vikings (Hilo, HI) in a Big Island I bout, on Friday, October 7. Konawaena will attempt to advance on its 5-1 season record. The Vikings enter the bout with a 5-2 record after their 70-0 league win over Kealakehe (Kailua-Kona, HI).
The Warriors (0-5) will now prepare for their bout against Kea'au (Kea'au, HI). The Cougars enter the Big Island I bout with a 3-3 record. In their last bout, Kea'au was overwhelmed by Hilo (Hilo, HI), 27-24, in a league bout.
