Minisink Valley Warriors (Slate Hill, NY) fans were thrilled Friday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Goshen Central Gladiators (Goshen, NY), 3-2 in a league challenge.

Next, the Warriors confront the Warwick Wildcats (Warwick, NY) in a Section 9 Division III challenge, on Monday, October 3. Minisink Valley will attempt to better on its 4-3 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 5-5 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Washingtonville (Washingtonville, NY).

The Gladiators now have a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they host Red Hook for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, October 4. Goshen Central will confront a Raiders team coming off a 2-1 league win over Rondout Valley (Accord, NY). The Raiders record now stands at 3-3.
