South Side Cyclones (Rockville Centre, NY) fans were thrilled Friday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Manhasset Indians (Manhasset, NY), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Cyclones confront the Garden City Trojans (Garden City, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, October 12. South Side will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record. The Trojans enter the challenge with a 7-2 record after their 5-0 non-league win over Plainedge (Massapequa, NY).

The Indians now have a 0-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to MacArthur for a non-league challenge on Monday, October 3.
