The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Oxford Academy Patriots (Cypress, CA) and the visiting Glenn Eagles (Norwalk, CA), saw Oxford Academy's volleyball squad nip Glenn by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Oxford Academy upgrades its record to 10-6 on the year. The Patriots host Whitney (Cerritos, CA) to play the Wildcats in a bout on Tuesday, October 4. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 2-3. Whitney lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against El Modena (Orange, CA)

The Eagles now own a 0-3 record.
