The Ball Tornadoes (Galveston, TX) volleyball overcame the host Angleton Wildcats (Angleton, TX), 3-0 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, Ball upgrades its record to 16-12 on the year. The Tornadoes host Friendswood (Friendswood, TX) to face the Mustangs in a 5A Region III District 18 outing on Tuesday, October 4. The Mustangs go into the outing with a record of 26-10. Friendswood won 3-0 in their recent league outing against La Porte (La Porte, TX)

The Wildcats now own a 9-14 record. They play next when they travel to Friendswood for a 5A Region III District 18 outing on Friday, October 7. Angleton will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Ball (Galveston, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 27-10.
