Texas High School Volleyball - Bryan tips Copperas Cove

The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Bryan Vikings (Bryan, TX) and the host Copperas Cove Bulldawgs (Copperas Cove, TX), saw Bryan's volleyball squad nip Copperas Cove by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, Bryan upgrades its record to 11-24 on the year. The Vikings travel to Hutto (Hutto, TX) to play the Hippos in a 6A Region II District 12 bout on Tuesday, October 4. The Hippos go into the bout with a record of 19-12. Hutto lost 3-2 in their recent league bout against Copperas Cove (Copperas Cove, TX)

The Bulldawgs now own a 23-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Harker Heights for a 6A Region II District 12 test on Tuesday, October 4. Copperas Cove will confront a Knights team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Midway (Waco, TX). The Knights record now stands at 9-23.
