In Friday's league battle, the host Santa Rosa Academy Rangers volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the California Military Institute Rough Riders.

The Rangers (7-8) will now prepare for their battle against California School for the Deaf-Riverside (Riverside, CA). The Cubs come into the non-league battle with a 10-5 record. In their last battle, California School for the Deaf-Riverside defeated Sherman Indian (Riverside, CA), 3-1, in a league battle.

Next, the Rough Riders encounter the Temecula Prep Patriots (Winchester, CA) in a South Valley battle, on Wednesday, October 5. California Military Institute will attempt to move on its 0-5 season record. The Patriots come into the battle with a 11-4 record after their 3-0 league win over San Jacinto Valley Academy (San Jacinto, CA).
