In Friday's league battle, the visiting Gilmer Buckeyes volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Center Roughriders.

The Buckeyes (16-18) will now prepare for their battle against Henderson (Henderson, TX). The Lions come into the 4A Region III District 17 battle with a 16-15 record.
