The New Boston Lions were winner over the host De Kalb Bears volleyball squad by a margin of 3-1 in Friday's league contest.

Next up, the Lions battle the Queen City Bulldogs (Queen City, TX) in a 3A Region II District 14 contest, on Tuesday, October 4. New Boston will attempt to better on its 12-11 season record. The Bulldogs go into the contest with a 13-11 record after their 3-0 league win over De Kalb (De Kalb, TX).
