The Wagon Mound Trojans volleyball team (Wagon Mound, NM), was dropped 3-0 in Friday's league challenge with the host Des Moines Demons (Des Moines, NM)

The Demons (6-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Cimarron (Cimarron, NM). The Rams enter the 1A District 5 challenge with a 6-6 record. In their last challenge, Cimarron was dropped by Clayton (Clayton, NM), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Trojans meet the Roy/Mosquero Blue or Lady Blue (Roy, NM) in a 1A District 5 challenge, on Tuesday, October 4. Wagon Mound will attempt to move on its 1-8 season record. The Blue or Lady Blue enter the challenge with a 10-4 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Clayton (Clayton, NM).
