In Friday's league battle, the visiting Johnson City Eagles volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Falls City Beavers.
The Eagles (25-10) will now prepare for their battle against Stacey (San Antonio, TX). The Eagles come into the 2A Region IV District 29 battle with a 15-8 record. In their last battle, Stacey achieved victory over Lee Academy of Science & Engineering (San Antonio, TX), 3-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Beavers clash with the Stockdale Brahmas (Stockdale, TX) in a 2A Region IV District 29 battle, on Tuesday, October 4. Falls City will attempt to advance on its 9-11 season record. The Brahmas come into the battle with a 11-13 record after their 3-0 league win over Stacey (San Antonio, TX).
