The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Gateway College Preparatory Gators (Georgetown, TX) and the host Jarrell Cougars (Jarrell, TX), saw Gateway College Preparatory's volleyball squad beat Jarrell by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Gateway College Preparatory upgrades its record to 15-6 on the year. The Gators host Burnet (Burnet, TX) to play the Bulldogs in a 4A Region III District 24 bout on Tuesday, October 4. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 18-11. Burnet won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Marble Falls (Marble Falls, TX)

The Cougars now own a 14-14 record. They play next when they travel to Lampasas for a 4A Region III District 24 bout on Tuesday, October 4. Jarrell will play a Badgers squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Lago Vista (Lago Vista, TX). The Badgers record now stands at 12-16.
