Wyoming High School Volleyball - Guernsey-Sunrise over HEM

The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Guernsey-Sunrise Vikings (Guernsey, WY) and the visiting HEM Miners (Hanna, WY), saw Guernsey-Sunrise's volleyball squad beat HEM by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Guernsey-Sunrise upgrades its record to 3-8 on the year. The Vikings travel to Minatare (Minatare, NE) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Saturday, October 1. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 1-16. Minatare lost 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Hay Springs (Hay Springs, NE)

The Miners now own a 0-10 record. They play next when they travel to Encampment for a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 4. HEM will play a Tigers squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Rock River (Rock River, WY). The Tigers record now stands at 4-4.
