The Little River Academy Bumblebees held off the visiting Lexington Eagles volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Friday's league test.
The Bumblebees now have a 18-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host McGregor for a 3A Region III District 19 test on Tuesday, October 4. Little River Academy will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-1 league loss to C.H. Yoe (Cameron, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-15.
The Eagles (7-17) will now prepare for their test against Lorena (Lorena, TX). The Leopards enter the 3A Region III District 19 test with a 21-9 record. In their last test, Lorena held off Troy (Troy, TX), 3-2, in a league test.
