The Middle College Cougars held off the visiting Math & Science College Preparatory Sharks volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Friday's league test.
The Cougars now have a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host New West Charter for a Crosstown test on Monday, October 3. Middle College will confront a Eagles team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Sherman Oaks CES (Reseda, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 11-7.
The Sharks (5-9) will now prepare for their test against View Park (Los Angeles, CA). The Knights enter the Crosstown test with a 0-7 record. In their last test, View Park was nudged by Foshay (Los Angeles, CA), 3-0, in a league test.
