The Ponder Lions topped the host Pilot Point Bearcats volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Friday's league test.

The Lions now have a 22-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Whitesboro for a 3A Region II District 10 test on Tuesday, October 4. Ponder will confront a Bearcats team coming off a 3-0 league loss to S & S Consolidated (Sadler, TX). The Bearcats record now stands at 9-13.

The Bearcats (5-22) will now prepare for their test against Callisburg (Gainesville, TX). The Wildcats enter the 3A Region II District 10 test with a 23-10 record. In their last test, Callisburg gained a win over Valley View (Valley View, TX), 3-0, in a league test.
