In Saturday's non-league match, the host Ka'u Trojans football squad scored a good 56-28 victory over the Pahoa Daggers.
In their next game, the Trojans clash with the Hawaii Prep Ka Makani (Kamuela, HI) in a Big Island II match, on Saturday, October 7. Ka'u will attempt to move on its 3-4 season record. The Ka Makani enter the match with a 5-2 record after their 16-12 league win over Honoka'a (Honoka'a, HI).
The Daggers (2-5) will now prepare for their match against Kamehameha Hawai'i (Kea'au, HI). The Warriors enter the non-league match with a 8-0 record. In their last match, Kamehameha Hawai'i thwarted Kohala (Kapaau, HI), 68-6, in a league match.
