The Santa Teresa Desert Warriors (Santa Teresa, NM) volleyball were winner over the host Gadsden Panthers (Anthony, NM), 2-0 in Saturday's non-league outing.
With the win, Santa Teresa betters its record to 5-2 on the year. The Desert Warriors host Hot Springs (Truth or Consequences, NM) to face the Tigers in a non-league outing on Tuesday, October 10. The Tigers go into the outing with a record of 2-4.
The Panthers now sport a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Deming for a non-league outing on Thursday, October 5. Gadsden will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Centennial (Las Cruces, NM). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-5.
