Rio Grande Ravens (Albuquerque, NM) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Manzano Monarchs (Albuquerque, NM), 7-5 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Ravens face the Albuquerque Bulldogs (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 5. Rio Grande will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record.
The Monarchs now have a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cibola for a non-league challenge on Monday, October 2. Manzano will face a Cougars team coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Atrisco Heritage Academy (Albuquerque, NM). The Cougars record now stands at 5-1.
