La Salle Institute Cadets (Troy, NY) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Cobleskill-Richmondville Bulldogs (Cobleskill, NY), 3-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Cadets confront the Albany Academy for Boys Cadets (Albany, NY) in a Colonial Council challenge, on Monday, October 2. La Salle Institute will attempt to better on its 6-6 season record. The Cadets enter the challenge with a 5-4 record after their 1-0 league loss to Voorheesville (Voorheesville, NY).

The Bulldogs now have a 2-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Schalmont for a Colonial Council challenge on Wednesday, October 4. Cobleskill-Richmondville will confront a Sabres team coming off a 12-1 league loss to Ichabod Crane (Valatie, NY). The Sabres record now stands at 5-5.
