New Mexico High School Soccer - West Mesa knocks off Farmington

West Mesa Mustangs (Albuquerque, NM) supporters were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Farmington Scorpions (Farmington, NM), 3-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Mustangs confront the Piedra Vista Panthers (Farmington, NM) in a 5A District 2 challenge, on Tuesday, October 3. West Mesa will attempt to move on its 3-9 season record. The Panthers enter the challenge with a 6-6 record after their 5-1 league loss to La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM).
The Scorpions now possess a 4-8 record. They take the field next when they host Eldorado for a 5A District 2 challenge on Tuesday, October 3. Farmington will confront a Golden Eagles team coming off a 3-1 league win over Sandia (Albuquerque, NM). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 5-5.
