Mount Desert Island Trojans (Mount Desert, ME) supporters were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Presque Isle Wildcats (Presque Isle, ME), 2-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Trojans confront the John Bapst Memorial Crusaders (Bangor, ME) in a Class B - North challenge, on Tuesday, October 3. Mount Desert Island will attempt to move on its 4-4 season record. The Crusaders enter the challenge with a 7-1 record after their 1-1 league Caribou (Caribou, ME).

The Wildcats now possess a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hermon for a Class B - North challenge on Wednesday, October 4. Presque Isle will confront a Hawks team coming off a 6-2 league loss to Old Town (Old Town, ME). The Hawks record now stands at 2-8.
