The Trinity Christian Warriors held off the visiting Wheeling Central Catholic Maroon Knights soccer squad by a margin of 2-1 in Saturday's league match.

The Warriors now sport a 10-3 record. They play next when they travel to University for a Two Rivers match on Thursday, October 5.

With the loss, Wheeling Central Catholic drops to 5-5 on the season. The Maroon knights travel to Tyler (Sistersville, WV) to encounter the Knights in a Little Kanawha - West match on Tuesday, October 3. The Knights come into the match with a record of 2-14.
