With the triumph, Montrose moves its record to 6-14 on the year. The Red Hawks travel to Gunnison (Gunnison, CO) to play the Cowboys in a non-league contest on Wednesday, October 4. The Cowboys come into the contest with a record of 10-8.

The Longhorns (4-10) will now prepare for their outing against Eagle Valley (Gypsum, CO). The Devils enter the non-league outing with a 11-8 record. In their last outing, Eagle Valley was routed by Rifle (Rifle, CO), 15-9, in a league outing.
