Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Hickman Kewpies (Columbia, MO) and the visiting Boonville Pirates (Boonville, MO), witnessed Hickman's softball squad tip Boonville by a count of 17-10.

The Kewpies now sport a 4-17 record. They play next when they travel to Oak Grove for a non-league match on Saturday, September 30. Hickman will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 8-3 non-league loss to Jefferson City (Jefferson City, MO). The Panthers record now stands at 14-5.

With the loss, Boonville moves to 7-15 on the season. The Pirates host New Franklin (New Franklin, MO) to meet the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Monday, October 2. The Bulldogs go into the match with a record of 6-10. New Franklin won 10-6 in their recent league match against Pilot Grove (Pilot Grove, MO)
