The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Destrehan Wildcats (Destrehan, LA) and the visiting Archbishop Chapelle Chipmunks (Metairie, LA), saw Destrehan's volleyball squad beat Archbishop Chapelle by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Destrehan upgrades its record to 16-7 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Hanson Memorial (Franklin, LA) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 30. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 4-8. Hanson Memorial won 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against Westgate (New Iberia, LA)

The Chipmunks now own a 8-11 record. They play next when they host St. Mary's Dominican for a Division I District 8 bout on Monday, October 2. Archbishop Chapelle will play a squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over E.D. White (Thibodaux, LA). The record now stands at 19-1.
