In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Beaverton Beavers volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Franklin Quakers.

The Beavers (7-9) will now prepare for their battle against Sunset (Portland, OR). The Apollos come into the 6A Metro battle with a 16-3 record. In their last battle, Sunset achieved victory over Mountainside (Beaverton, OR), 3-1, in a league battle.

Next, the Quakers clash with the Benson Tech Techmen (Portland, OR) in a 6A Portland Interscholastic battle, on Tuesday, October 3. Franklin will attempt to advance on its 5-7 season record. The Techmen come into the battle with a 0-8 record after their 3-0 league loss to Wells (Portland, OR).
