The McAdory Yellowjackets volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Calera Eagles to 0 in the Yellowjackets non-league victory on Saturday.

The Yellowjackets now have a 18-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gardendale for a non-league game on Saturday, September 30. McAdory will meet a Rockets team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Jasper (Jasper, AL). The Rockets record now stands at 8-14.

The Eagles (6-8) will now prepare for their game against Benjamin Russell (Alexander City, AL). The Wildcats enter the 6A Area 5 game with a 3-13 record. In their last game, Benjamin Russell dropped by Calera (Calera, AL), 3-0, in a league game.
