The Roy/Mosquero Longhorn volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Clayton Yellowjackets to 0 in the Longhorn non-league victory on Saturday.

The Longhorn now possess a 11-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wagon Mound for a 1A District 5 game on Monday, October 2. Roy/Mosquero will meet a Trojans team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Mora (Mora, NM). The Trojans record now stands at 1-7.

The Yellowjackets (5-9) will now prepare for their game against Raton (Raton, NM). The Tigers enter the non-league game with a 6-7 record. In their last game, Raton was dropped by Springer (Springer, NM), 3-0, in a non-league game.
