The Crater Comets held off the host Grants Pass Cavemen volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Comets now have a 13-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Foothill for a non-league test on Saturday, September 30. Crater will confront a Cougars team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Pleasant Valley (Chico, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 13-5.
The Cavemen (8-9) will now prepare for their test against Foothill (Palo Cedro, CA). The Cougars enter the non-league test with a 13-5 record. In their last test, Foothill was nudged by Pleasant Valley (Chico, CA), 3-0, in a league test.
