Connecticut High School Volleyball - Darien tips Southington

September 30, 2023: Southington, CT 06489

The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Darien Blue Wave (Darien, CT) and the host Southington Blue Knights (Southington, CT), saw Darien's volleyball squad nip Southington by a tally of 1-0.

With the win, Darien upgrades its record to 7-0 on the year. The Blue Wave travel to Stamford (Stamford, CT) to play the Black Knights in a Fairfield County bout on Monday, October 2. The Black Knights go into the bout with a record of 5-5. Stamford won 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against Weston (Weston, CT)

The Blue Knights now own a 15-4 record. They play next when they travel to Edwin O. Smith for a non-league bout on Monday, October 2. Southington will play a Panthers squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to RHAM (Hebron, CT). The Panthers record now stands at 1-6.
