The crowd at Saturday's league bout between the Sanford-Fritch Eagles (Fritch, TX) and the visiting Highland Park Hornets (Amarillo, TX), saw Sanford-Fritch's volleyball squad beat Highland Park by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Sanford-Fritch upgrades its record to 22-6 on the year. The Eagles travel to Memphis (Memphis, TX) to play the Cyclones in a 2A Region I District 1 bout on Tuesday, October 3. The Cyclones go into the bout with a record of 0-2. Memphis lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Vega (Vega, TX)

The Hornets now own a 2-14 record. They play next when they travel to Friona for a non-league bout on Saturday, October 7. Highland Park will play a Chieftans squad coming off a 3-0 league win over River Road (Amarillo, TX). The Chieftans record now stands at 26-8.
