Kansas High School Volleyball - Hutchinson tips Newton

September 30, 2023: Hutchinson, KS 67501

In Saturday's non-league contest, the Hutchinson Salthawks (Hutchinson, KS) volleyball squad edged the visiting Newton Railroaders (Newton, KS), by a margin of 2-1.

Next up, the Salthawks battle the Maize South Mavericks (Wichita, KS) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, October 3. Hutchinson will attempt to better on its 9-18 season record. The Mavericks come into the contest with a 22-2 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Basehor-Linwood (Basehor, KS).

With the loss, Newton drops to 16-11 on the campaign. The Railroaders travel to Great Bend (Great Bend, KS) to battle the Panthers in a non-league contest on Saturday, September 30. The Panthers come into the contest with a record of 14-1. Great Bend won 3-1 in their recent non-league contest against Dodge City (Dodge City, KS)
