Stanfield Tigers (Stanfield, OR) backers left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Irrigon Knights (Irrigon, OR), 3-0 in a league match.

Next up, the Tigers battle the Grant Union Prospectors (John Day, OR) in a 2A Blue Mountain match, on Thursday, October 5. Stanfield will attempt to better on its 7-8 season record.

With the loss, Irrigon drops to 9-6 on the campaign. The Knights host Liberty Christian (Richland, WA) to battle the Patriots in a non-league match on Monday, October 2. The Patriots come into the match with a record of 6-2. Liberty Christian won 3-0 in their recent league match against Waitsburg (Waitsburg, WA)
