The North Polk Comets held off the host Lincoln Lynx volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Comets now have a 23-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ames for a non-league test on Saturday, September 30. North Polk will confront a Little Cyclones team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Roosevelt (Des Moines, IA). The Little Cyclones record now stands at 7-10.

The Lynx (17-17) will now prepare for their test against Sioux City East (Sioux City, IA). The Black Raiders enter the Missouri River test with a 7-7 record. In their last test, Sioux City East held off Bishop Heelan Catholic (Sioux City, IA), 3-0, in a league test.
