The Plainview Bears volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Lincoln Golden Bears to 0 in the Bears non-league victory on Saturday.
The Bears now have a 35-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oxford for a non-league game on Saturday, September 30. Plainview will meet a Yellow Jackets team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Alexandria (Alexandria, AL). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 19-8.
The Golden Bears (6-23) will now prepare for their game against Lexington (Lexington, AL). The Golden Bears enter the non-league game with a 28-9 record. In their last game, Lexington gained a win over Tharptown (Russellville, AL), 3-0, in a league game.
