In Saturday's non-league battle, the host St. Peter Saints volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Mankato East Cougars.
The Saints (9-3) will now prepare for their battle against Watertown-Mayer (Watertown, MN). The Royals come into the non-league battle with a 9-8 record. In their last battle, Watertown-Mayer achieved victory over Rockford (Rockford, MN), 3-1, in a league battle.
Next, the Cougars clash with the Mayo Spartans (Rochester, MN) in a Big 9 battle, on Tuesday, October 3. Mankato East will attempt to advance on its 9-8 season record.
