In Saturday's league battle, the host Southeast Warren Warhawks volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Martensdale-St. Mary's Blue Devils.

The Warhawks (8-21) will now prepare for their battle against Prairie City-Monroe (Monroe, IA). The Mustangs come into the non-league battle with a 8-11 record. In their last battle, Prairie City-Monroe achieved victory over Cardinal (Eldon, IA), 3-1, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Blue Devils clash with the Colfax-Mingo Tigerhawks (Colfax, IA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 30. Martensdale-St. Mary's will attempt to advance on its 2-15 season record. The Tigerhawks come into the battle with a 4-10 record after their 3-2 league win over Keota (Keota, IA).
