The Fighting Saints (5-14) will now prepare for their challenge against Springville (Springville, AL). The Tigers enter the 5A Area 11 challenge with a 19-3 record. In their last challenge, Springville nipped Moody (Moody, AL), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Blue Devils encounter the McAdory Yellowjackets (McCalla, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 5. Moody will attempt to move on its 16-14 season record. The Yellowjackets enter the challenge with a 18-11 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Gardendale (Gardendale, AL).
