With the win, Portland Christian upgrades its record to 10-14 on the year. The Eagles host Seneca (Louisville, KY) to play the Red Hawks in a non-league bout on Monday, October 2. The Red Hawks go into the bout with a record of 14-10.

The Mustangs now own a 6-15 record. They play next when they host Fairdale for a non-league bout on Monday, October 9. Moore will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Fern Creek (Louisville, KY). The Bulldogs record now stands at 9-14.
