In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Tri-City United [Montgomery-Lonsdale/Le Center] Titans volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva Panthers.

The Titans (11-7) will now prepare for their battle against Glencoe-Silver Lake (Glencoe, MN). The Panthers come into the non-league battle with a 11-4 record.

Next, the Panthers clash with the Hayfield Vikings (Hayfield, MN) in a Gopher battle, on Tuesday, October 3. New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva will attempt to advance on its 7-7 season record. The Vikings come into the battle with a 6-11 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Lewiston-Altura (Lewiston, MN).
