The Patel Trailblazers topped the visiting Winthrop College Prep Academy Spartans volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Trailblazers now have a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Seffner Christian for a non-league test on Monday, October 2. Patel will confront a Crusaders team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Saint Stephen's Episcopal (Bradenton, FL). The Crusaders record now stands at 10-9.
The Spartans (8-10) will now prepare for their test against Tampa Bay HEAT (Brandon, FL). The enter the non-league test with a 5-7 record. In their last test, Tampa Bay HEAT was knocked off by Out-of-Door Academy (Sarasota, FL), 3-0, in a non-league test.
