In Saturday's league battle, the visiting Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial Wolverines volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Valley View Tigers.

The Wolverines (7-16) will now prepare for their battle against Rowe (McAllen, TX). The Warriors come into the 5A Region IV District 31 battle with a 13-19 record. In their last battle, Rowe lost by Pioneer (Mission, TX), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Tigers clash with the Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest Javelinas (Pharr, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 31 battle, on Tuesday, October 3. Valley View will attempt to advance on its 2-14 season record. The Javelinas come into the battle with a 0-21 record after their 3-0 league loss to Sharyland (Mission, TX).
