The Knights (10-0) will now prepare for their contest against Sacred Heart Prep (Atherton, CA). The Gators enter the contest with a 7-3 record. In their last test, Sacred Heart Prep edged St. Ignatius College Preparatory (San Francisco, CA), 19-0, in a league test.

With the defeat, Saint Francis drops to 3-4 on the campaign. The Lancers travel to Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory (San Francisco, CA) to clash with the Fightin' Irish in a test on Wednesday, October 2. The Fightin' Irish come into the test with a record of 3-4. Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory won 36-6 in their recent league test against Notre Dame (Belmont, CA)
