The Santana Sultans flag football squad scored 45 points and limited the visiting Steele Canyon Cougars to 20 in the Sultans league triumph on Monday.

The Sultans now sport a 7-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Granite Hills for a Grossmont Hills test on Monday, September 30. Santana will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 13-0 non-league loss to San Diego (San Diego, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 2-4.

With the defeat, Steele Canyon drops to 5-5 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Grossmont (El Cajon, CA) to clash with the Foothillers in a Grossmont Hills test on Monday, October 7. The Foothillers come into the test with a record of 7-2. Grossmont won 26-20 in their recent league test against Granite Hills (El Cajon, CA)
