In Monday's league contest, the Berwick Bulldogs (Berwick, PA) soccer team routed the host Hazleton Area Cougars (Hazleton, PA), by a count of 5-1.

Next, the Bulldogs battle the Wyoming Valley West Spartans (Plymouth, PA) in a Wyoming Valley 1 contest, on Thursday, October 3. Berwick will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Spartans enter the contest with a 7-5 record after their 2-1 league win over Wilkes-Barre (Wilkes-Barre, PA).
