Fans at Monday's league battle between the Middleton Vikings (Middleton, ID) and the visiting Caldwell Cougars (Caldwell, ID), saw Middleton's soccer squad triumph over Caldwell by a score of 7-2.

The Vikings (11-1) will now prepare for their battle against Columbia (Nampa, ID). The Wildcats enter the 5A Southern Idaho battle with a 1-9 record. In their last battle, Columbia was overwhelmed by Vallivue (Caldwell, ID), 6-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Cougars confront the Skyview Hawks (Nampa, ID) in a 5A Southern Idaho battle, on Wednesday, October 2. Caldwell will attempt to improve on its 4-6 season record.
