Fans at Monday's league battle between the Foxcroft Academy Ponies (Dover-Foxcroft, ME) and the visiting Central Red Devils (East Corinth, ME), saw Foxcroft Academy's soccer squad knock off Central by a count of 2-0.

The Ponies (6-0) will now prepare for their battle against Piscataquis (Guilford, ME). The Pirates enter the non-league battle with a 0-9 record. In their last battle, Piscataquis by Penobscot Valley (Howland, ME), 8-0, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Red Devils battle the Washington Academy Raiders (East Machias, ME) in a Class C - North battle, on Tuesday, October 1. Central will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record. The Raiders enter the battle with a 0-6 record after their 6-0 league loss to Orono (Orono, ME).
